Like gene says that nut is not suposed to turn, you are suposed to turn nut on shaft between pully and mounting bracket. I have two of these tractors and on both of mine you must use a wrench on other nut. The originals were a nut that took a 15/16 wrench, and was suposed to hold in that chanel. My tractors will not hold anymore without using a wrench. Many of these have been changed to a nut that takes a 7/8 wrench. They hold shaft with a 7/8 wrench and turn nut with what ever size is on there As to your 3 point question there are several all aftermarket, without seeing would be hard to help.
