mine has a starter and generator and a plate for a fuel pump also a plate where the hy pump could go. Hve seen many of these types at shows am a firm believer that any thing goes mine has the flat sheet metal and a snorkel for the intake some have tractor sheet metal. The sales matl shows both types. Combines had a clutch and a baler didnt have one as the baler had an idler lt start the machine. The combines had linkage that opened the gov and enguaged the clutch at the same time. Is your starter reversed from a tractor and below the filter. These starters also ran backwards from what one on a tractor would have ran. They also had different compressions as they were used in high elevations and the pistons had a dome. Hope this answersw some questions as this is quite a subject.
