Thanks for the help. Maybe someday my owner's manual will arrive & I can look these things up. Called an IH dealer regarding recommended engine oil & they said (surprise) use IH oil only - 30w in summer & 10w in winter. What about a Penzoil 10-30 or equivalent. Will only be using the tractor for mowing & loader work. Also have seen all kinds of recommendations on gas--some say use only premium while others say reg unleaded is fine. What's the real story?
