Thanks for the info. Yes, I still had my copper element, in rough but still usable shape. My question wasn't very clear - the tube leading from the engine block up to the air breather pipe was broken off and plugged completely. What I want to do is see if it isn't plugged in the engine block by blowing some air through it. I'm gonna try it - let you know what happens.
