Thanks for the comments and info. I'm still experimenting with what to plant and would like to get by with one or the other instead of both. This was my first spring- the broadcast beans grew fine- 5 acres that never got more than 6" tall from the deer grazing, still produced lots of pods for the turkeys to eat. As I said, I'm experimenting- would like to plant corn, beans, sorghum, millet, sunflowers. If I can find a 3pt 2 or 4 row planter or a small drill that doesn't need hydralics I'm sure I can make do.
