Dad had a 350 gas witha 3-16 fast hitch plow, and it worked quite well. As others have said, it is light on the front end. Dad wouldn't put any weight on the front, and we spent half the time with the front in the air in tough plowing. Could take off with the plow fulle raised in fourth gear and the plow would dig dirt! Also had to be careful on the road. I liked the handiness of the fast hitch plow, but dad later vbought a 3-16 IH pull plow, and he said it pulled easier., The mounted one may not have been adjusted just right. I don't know why there would be much difference as they were basically the same bottoms.
