Hi, Congratulations with your great tractor! I bought a Super BM 2,5 years ago, serial nr around 11000, and it's from 1957. (read in some book from a friend). The engine was stuck, and there was no oil in it. Took the engine completely apart; it was full of rust. Cleaned it with a steam-cleaner and brushed the rust off. replaced sleeves, piston rings, all the gaskets, found another camshaft (mine was rusted to much)and put things together again. Oct 1st was my birthday and I tried to start it for the first time AND IT RAN!!!! Just have to take a good look at the ignition for it starts and runs very bad. Looking forward to the first ride! There is very little info to find about these tractors, but recently i bought a copy from a workshop manual (Dutch) for BM and BMD, which is at most points identical to SBM and SBMD; It was very usefull in putting together the carburator, waterpump and other things. Sorry about this long story, but had to share...
