Randy, as a general rule I always rebuild although I have known others who can get by with good cleaning.. Be sure your gas supply is clean from tank, you may also need to flush and clean tank, lines, I always put an in line filter on. Now as to carb clean or rebuild - seperate the carb into top and bottom sections - there will be four bolts to do this - use good and correct size screwdrivers as you don't want to strip or damage any carb parts - once you've done this repost or e-mail me and I will assist thru process....Good Luck - Allen R...
