flaky gas tank

hi, hoping to get some ideas on what i should do with a gas tank on my 04. I took it off, cleaned it as best i could, but it still has a lot of scale and rust in it clinging to the walls of the tank. what should i do now??

getting the starter off that sucker took several cuss words!!
