Thanks for the suggestions. After painting several small parts I see what you mean about the defects looking even worse. I haven't filled any of them though and I don't plan on it as I rather prefer it with the dents (probably sounds a bit crazy) and I plan on working it. If anything it could use a new grill as the first thing I had to do was fish it out of the radiator. SAm in NS
