F-20 hauling

Looking at hauling a F-20 a few hundred miles. I have a car hauler that is 83 inches wide. The F-20 maesures 98 inches (outside tire to outside tire). Looking at taking rear wheels off and letting tractor rest on final drive housings, this will give room to get tractor on trailer nicely.
Has anyone done this or can anyone think of a reason not to do this. Would this be too much pressure on the final drive housing or anywhere else.
