I've never had problems with any kind of plug, myself. Replaced AC's in our 400 with Champions several years back, because the AC's were just plain old. The Champions are still going strong. This motor burns a lot of oil, but the Champions have never fouled even once on me.
Someone mentioned leaded vs. unleaded gas, and I'm wondering if that doesn't have something to do with it. People say that quality has declined in the past few decades, but it was in the past few decades that everyone switched to unleaded gas, wasn't it? I burn leaded, and so I wonder if that has something to do with the success of my plugs.
