I think every state in the US and every province in Canada put dye in the tax exempt off road gas and diesel. Just about every where you better not get caught with it in the wrong place. In my home province, the penalty is a hefty fine, and you loose your right to ever buy tax exempt gas or diesel. I was reading some research material on another subject re: state of Iowa. From what I read, I am doubtful anyone can buy leaded gas in Iowa. If he has some I wouldn't talk to much about it, not in the state of Iowa. The research material I was reading was about envoirmentally friendly fuels. Sounded to me as though they are years ahead of most of us. It also sounded as though they were quite tough on offenders.
