I think your 87 octain is also unleaded, unless you are somewhere outside North America. I doubt if there is leaded gas being produced anywhere. You are however right, 87 octain will be just as good as any. That is all I use in my SA and 130 and sometimes when it is cold I wish they wouldn't start. I have a hunch 6 cylinder tractors may start a bit better in sub zero weather with 93 octain, that is all. Most of those 6 cylinder Farmall gassers were built in the era of high performance family sedans. Remember the 283 Chevys and 289 Fords, stock off the showroom floor and they would go 0 to 60 in 6 to 10 seconds.
