They are both great tractors. The 856 has the same rear end as the 826, but the front half of the 856 is built on a larger frame. The radiator and frame, and sheet metal is taller than the 826. The 856 was built as a replacement for the 806, while the 826 was built as a replacement for the 756. The 756 was built as a replacement for the 706, so you can see why the 826 has a smaller front frame. They are a close match for horsepower.
