Before you spend any money, adjust your TA and clutch linkage! When it won't come out of gear until you pull the TA lever, that means the linkages are out of adjustment. Fix that first and see if you still have the noise - noise could be a throwout bearing hitting on pressure plate fingers if linkage is out of adjustment.
