Bob, I have a 706 two 806's,656 & 856 all diesel. The 706 & 656 have the same motor except I installed a turbo on the 706 and turned up the pump for more hp. The 706 has the same rear end as the 806's and can take the extra hp. The 656 has about the same transmission as the old 560, but to me all IH tractors are great. You just have to pick the right one for the job you want to do.
