The 606 is a neat little utility tractor, and you really don't see too many of them around. Engine parts should be easy to find, and replacing the engine altogether shouldn't be a problem either, as all of those old six-cylinder gas and diesels used the same block. You should be able to use parts, like the front and rear covers, from the engine the 606 currently has to put the following engines in: C-221 gas (460, 606), C-263 (560, 660, early 706, 656), C-291 (late 706, 756, 666, 766, 686), C-301 (806, 826, 856), D-236 diesel (460, 606), D-282 (560, 660, early 706, 656) and the D-301 (715 Combine, I think).
