It's a tough decision with 2 for the 706 and one against. Some have had good lock with the 706 but they seem to sit in victory lane (our place for old equipment) a lot more than other tractors. They also sell for less than an equivlant tractor - their is a reason.

I'm not going to change the mind of the 2 individuals that love their tractors and feel bad about saying something less then positive.

But if your purchasing this model be careful. A lot of 282 have had trouble starting and starting fluid used quite a bit. Starting fluid is real tough on an engine
