Thanks for the answer. I guess I basically like to do things the lazy way, which means I'll try to do the seal job without pulling the pump. Besides, I really don't want to mess up the paint by taking the hydraulic connections off if I don't have to. The countershaft seal that drives the belly pump was a piece of cake - just hope the mainshaft seal is half as easy. Thanks again. Larry
