It sounds to me as though you have a plugged carburator inlet screen. This screen is easy to get to. Pull the fuel line loose from the carb. then unscrew the fitting that the fuel line was screwed into. there is a very fine meshed screen on the end of that fitting, spray it out with carburator spray cleaner and blow it out with compressed air.
I think I'd also do as the others have mentioned and check the inside of the tank for debris, and pull and clean out the inlet to the fuel separator
, and blow out the fuel line.
I think this should take care of your problem.
