your SUPER C should have a dist as mags were not used by the time the SC was built if it jumped time you must have stripped some teeth on the timing gear or the camshaft gear as that is what drives the mag or dist how else did it get out of time if you have a mag there are gears that run the rotor they are right behind the rotor
