The real early C's had the Farmall emblem accross the grill.. According to Guy Fays Letter Series Book, it was the early C;s that had it...he even mentioned preproduction models, but both C's that I had, had the Farmall plate, one was a 48, and the other was a menagerie of different years, and parts, including Super C parts.
