i have always, before this spring, used regular sae 30 in the cub. someone told me to go ahead and try 40wt in it and see if it helps the oil pressure any. i had planned to change it back to 30wt before it gets cold out. one thing that DonLC mentioned is happening also. after running the cub just for a little bit, the oil is super thin, even this 40wt. i had wondered if the engine was overheating and was causing this. thanks for you suggestions bama!
