Coolant Temp Senson on 806G

Can someone tell me where the coolant temperature sensor is located on an 806 gas tractor? I looked all over and can't find it and my service manuals don't tell me where it is either. My temperature guage has never worked, and I would like to get it working, so would like to start with the temp sensor.

I also suspect the temp sensor for causing another problem. It seems that when the engine is warm, my headlights work OK. After the tractor has been sitting for a while to cool off, I find that the fuse will blow as soon as I turn on the key and my lights no longer work. This might be due to the temp sensor grounding out as the coolant temperature falls.
