I don't know much about the block, but just a word of advice if you are wanting to buy this tractor to use for work- I have heard that LP gas is no longer very economical to run compared to gas, and definitely not economical compared to diesel. Back in the seventies, during the gas crunch, they practically gave LP away I think, is why LP tractors used to be more popular. Sorry this doesn't answer your question, but I just thought I'd warn you about the cost of running it.
