If you look into the very recent archives, someone was discussing just what you want. Don't remember exactly, I believe they modified one from an M. Problem with 3 point hitches and even fast hitch on these older tractors is position of seat and indeed operator. Even on H, M, 300, 400 and 560 for example many implements would strike seat when raised. I had a corn planter on 560, always rubbed seat when raised. One day I lowered corn planter on move and it took seat from under me.

I would think W series tractors would be even worse as seat is directly over drawbar. I personally would never try this again. These hitches really only worked well after the introduction of 04-06 tractors, with operator moved foreward on tractor. Fast hitch plows for example on Farmall 300, 400, etc. in raised position only cleared ground by 4-6". These got many a person in trouble on soft ground. You see newer tractors with operator and seat moved foreward and plow 2' off the ground.

Most North American built tractors were built the same. Harry Ferguson may not have had much of tractor in a 300 acre field with a Farmall SM,or JD 720 or Oliver 88. He did however win the hitch war and we all use his hitch today.
