I used to buy on eBay when it was forst starting out. Over the past few years it has become nothing but a rip off. People buy crap on eBay and turn around and resell with obscene shipping charges. Doesn't seem to matter what you are after. If you do find something worthwhile it seems like the bidders get stupid and run the dang thing up so high that you are better off going out and buying brand new. It's too bad it has become this way. It was a REAL auction way back when it started. All it is now a RETAIL outlet.
