No o-rings on H sleeves. Dry sleeves pressed directly into block. I don't think the hot tank will hurt the finish on the sleeves. You'll want to bead hone before re-assembly anyway. The only down-side I see is some water getting in behind the sleeve and getting trapped. Also not seeing what the block looks like in behind the sleeve. I know it's easier to spend someone else's money, but you're this far I'd suggest replacing sleeves,pistons and rings. You don't have any grooves at the top of the sleeves? If ever in need of some help WIRED give me a hollar!
