Exact build dates are hard to find for Farmalls unless the documentation was kept when delivered to the first owner and on and on. The FBKM # is the motor number and appears that it is 8 higher than the other number you gave which was probably on the serial number plate on the left side clutch housing. Look at the major castings for a number like 5*23*K (The * looks like a slotted screw head). This part would have been cast on May 23, 1941. The first M made in '41 was serial number 25371 and nearly 5,600 were made that year. Suffix letter J in those casting dates would indicate cast date of '40. Sorry I can't be more specific as to what day your M was built.//FB
