Dave, Funny world is right about the cost of a new motor. I needed a intake/exhust and other odds and ends and got a whole M that a guy had taken apart and lost the will to get in back running. The motor is less pistons and sleeves but the crank and cam are good. I had the machine shop check the head and it's not cracked but needs valves, seats etc. The motor even has fresh red paint. Water pump, clutch and flywhell, pan all are attached. I'm in central Kansas so you may want to check around if you are not close. UPS won't pick this thing up.
