Dead flies, I can see this being a problem. I had a few kernals of corn get in diesel tank of combine one time, of course kernals swelled and when combine was getting low in fuel would suck a corn kernal to fuel line. It wouldn't go in fuel line just block the end. I found I could pluck corn out of the fill hole when tank was full. I got it all that way I'll bet those damn flies don't float. Tank may be different shape. You will probably have to remove tank and steam out.
