B motor rebuild - didnt pay attention

I didnt ask the question right the first time. I Put a kit to increase bore (3" to 3 1/8") I think it is the only rebuild kits available. Hers the not paying attention part. I got a gasket kit for a B and put the thing together but I didnt notice if the head gasket was for a 3" bore which would make it hang over the cylinder wall. If their is no a rebuild kit for a 3" bore can I conclude that the gasket would be 3 1/8" or shouldI tear it down to verify?
