Wide Front End off of a Super C

My 240 Row-Crop has a Super C wide front. Problem is that I could probably turn circles around it with the 966! I think part of the problem may be that the tie-rods are out longer than they should be, causing the spindle arms to point outwards about 35 degrees when the wheels are pointed straight ahead. Is this effecting my turning radius any, or is this just not a tight-turning front end? Think there's a reason the last owner had them like this, mabey because the tie-rods haven't been moved for years and are stuck?
