My first reaction on this is find another block. 113 cu in blocks are quite easy to come by in most places. I however tend to look at these items from point of view putting it to work and it has to pay its way. If looking for example at a tractor for sale, one of the big turn offs to me is broken, cracked or welded castings. From point of view of restoring tractor good sheet metal is probably a lot harder to come by than good castings. I havn't helped much have I? Put it this way, if you wanted to sell and I wanted to buy, non matching serial number would not turn me off, repaired block would.
