340 HP is about the same as a Super H..... You should Be O-K with a 6 ft. I've pulled a 6 ft. Brillion over 1000's of acres. I'd look for a 60 HP gearbox and PTO shaft. Yes, Your 340 has a 540 RPM PTO. You didn't say if You want a 3-point or trailing mower. Each has it's advantages. Look for the heaviest weight model, Thickest weight steel, removable side sheets or panels for chopping heavy growth, Slip clutch is prefered in the PTO as opposed to shear pins. If Your looking at trailing models, look for the same things as the 3-point models, plus the ability to mount wheels in different positions along side and behind the mower. A 3-joint driveline is an advantage on a trailing mower too for shorter turns.
