Hal - Generally "single wire" alternators either have a blind plug filling the aux terminal (#1 and #2) opening, or the aux terminal opening is simply empty. However chances are unless you specifically requested a single wire 10SI, the alternator you purchased is a standard 3 wire unit. I don't recommend single wire alternators for tractor applications due to the higher speed required to get a single wire unit the turn on and begin charging at startup Incidentally a 3 wire 10SI can be converted to a single wire simply by replacing the stock internal regulator with a "single wire" regulator.
