The main question is the amount of acreage your working.I am very partial to cubs a matter of fact I just restored a 1949 for my own use.The A has a bigger engine which is a plus.I find that a cub with Hydraulics is the best way to go.I have a front snow blade,1 bottom plow,cultivator set,disk and trailer,in process of a belly mower.Its a all around excellent tractor and after its new birth it will last another 50 yrs with no trouble.Mechanily I would say your even on the A or cub It all depends on the condition of the tractor when ya get it.But my opinion= 2 thumbs up for the cub!!!!!
