The 1566 I just bought has a Air Condition unit on top, but missing the compressor pump and bracket on the engine. I am told I can use a compressor from a Car (Ford mid 70's) and they were the same make of compressor. It is a "Cab Air" made by "Year-Around-Cab-Corp",... 12 Volt, 40 amp max,... I live in Northern Maine, and we have nice summers, and almost never too hot requiring Air. I am planning on removing and selling the unit, but have no idea what to ask for it. Need the $$$$ to restore the rest of the tractor. Besides, it will lower my tractor by 8 inches so I can trailer it under the 13ft-6in height. The unit puts me over height. So, any ideas what to ask. I plan on putting it on Auction (YT or E-Bay) or maybe entertain offers? Can get a pic E-Mailed if needed.
