I was told to buy their vinyl cut decals. I hesitated because they are more expensive but now I am glad I did. There is no vinyl or mylar between the letters. It looks like each letter was painted on like the original. But they are easy to apply as one word because they are laid out on a backing. You might be satisfied with less expensive decals but I know you will be very satisfied with vinyl cut.
