Michael, Go to the Farmall archives and search on "steering bolster" or "front end wobble". You should find quite a few hits on this subject. To summarize, the problem could be in the U-joint, worm and sector gears in the front bolster, in the upper or lower bushings and bearings in the bolster or worn wheel bearings. It probably is a combination of all the above. If you decide to take the front bolster off the tractor, PLEASE BE CAREFUL - this thing is very heavy and also top-heavy. Good luck. FM
