I have a very old 7ft pull behind that I use on my H. It has no problem going through high thick grass in 1st gear. 2nd or 3rd might go easier in shorter grass(1 foot or more) but still does well. I let my uncle use it with his M and he said the tractor did great. This mower is massive once you get that blade going it takes it awhile to stop. Make sure you get an overrun clutch for your PTO.
