Sounds like you've got the 100-inch tread rear axles. 80-inch was standard, 88 and 100 were options. My 240 has the 100's, I've been told that they were for cultivating bedded crops, exactly what I don't know as I don't know anything about my tractor's history. The single front wheel was also an option. As for the chrome letters, that was totaly normal for all years and all models in the 00, 30, and 50 series. PTO can be added if you can find a unit from a C, Super C, 200, 230, or 240.
