I put a Saginaw hitch on my H. Best thing i ever did. The 2 cylinders seem to work great. I have a 48 and I rebulit the pump - the seal around the shaft was gone. I show 1000 lbs of pressure. I have a Cross convertra double action valve. And yes you can have down pressure. The valve comes set up for it out of the box. The guy @ Saginaw sold it to me. You will need 2 hoses from the pressure side and 2 hoses from the relief side. Each pair will need to be teed together. Both hoses go to the valve body - the hook in there. then 2 hoses go to the tractor - one for the pressure, one to the return or drainback side. I put a tee on the knob that is the fill point. It had a little depth gage. I took this out sisnce it would not be accurate because of the length of the tee. I put the knob on the top, the return from the valve on the side, and the bottom went where the knob went. I made a bracke at work the bolts to the clamp for the hitch. I drilled 2 holes in the clamp - a square tube piece. I mounted a piece of alum. angle - 6"x4x4 and transferred the hole pattern from the valve body. It works great. And of course I painted it Farmall RED!!!!

When dealing with thinner metals like sheet tin, a long bolt and
