Why not make a lockout for the switch? You could rig that sits over the switch and is held closed by a padlock. Take off the padlock, take off the rig and you're in business.

Or you could do like me and leave the ground strap off the battery.
Keeps my (adult) cousins off the tractor for hours before they figure it out!
