don't feel too bad about the bookstore clerk not liking the Farmall book. And if she doesn't want to go for a ride on your restored H then tell her you will leave it for her in her front yard as a permanent lawn ornament until she goe to the ice cream store with you.

And G-Man may have a point: pick up a book on Male Sensitivity and how treat a woman right. Ask her if she could provide a good recommendation to a similar subject and book. Once the ice is cracked, and if she shows no interest in you and your H, then recommend a book for her to read. I'm sure, at that point, you will have a decent title in your mind. BUT Never give up. Be persistent, and drive back and forth by the front of the bookstore on your H and keep waving. Eventually you will wear her down...hopefully before you wear down the treads on your tires.
