need some RED advice..263 or 301

I have a 560D with a bad engine,I found a 263 gas engine out of a cotton picker.Is this a good engine,the book says that it is the gas engine for the 560,will the cotton picker engine fit in the tractor? and how much has to be changed.I'd rather have a gas engine as most of the use is in the cold weather.I've been looking for a 301 gas but most of them are used up by pullers.
any thoughts.
ps .this is a farm tractor not a puller
