Don`t be too hard on the gentleman who suggested using non-detergent oil. It`s standard pratice in aircraft engines. I know the M isn`t an aircraft engine, but the first few hrs (25) won`t hurt a thing and will help seat the rings. As stated by earlier responders this is probably a valve guide problem, which won`t anything either, just a little faster carbon build up, but I doubt you will run it that much.
