Farmall M cluthh replacemett-HELP!

I split my M today and put a new clutch plate and throwout bearing in it. I got it back together okay, but the throwout bearing won't reach the "fingers" that disengage the clutch no matter how I adjust it. I was sure I put everything back together right, but obviously I have something wrong. Right now I have it split apart again in the yard, looking for HELP on what I did wrong. Could someone please straighten me out on this? Thank you, Mike
