Bob: Sounds a little weird, but when this question came up a year or so ago, somebody suggested 1)take the tank off, 2)plug it, 3)put a double handful of roofing nails in the tank, 4)secure it to the wheel of another tractor, perhaps with bungee cords, and 5)use that tractor to cut a field of hay. At the end of the day, viola!, you've scoured the inside of the tank. And the answer is no, I didn't try it. I don't have a another tractor. But it's weird enough to work. Keep on wrenching red.
